As i reached out to to see what i was missing
i heard a voice saying,
"twinkel twinkel little star, look out don't go to far"
As we hold our hands we jumped over the cliff
Light of my life what have we done i screamed
Light of my life you said we've reached our destination called undone
as a few of you guys already knew i really love doing photography but in the ldskooll way
last week i went to berlin and shot a lot of photos there also with my holga and slr and minolta.

Today's post is all about a fabulous inspiring young photographer named Esmee jacobs.
she is a student @ sintlucas where i first met her
i instantly fell in love with her photos when i saw them.
S.o :Thank you very much for letting me interview you Esmee! But tell us a bit about yourself ,
Esmee: Hello everybody my name is Esmee I’m 19 years going to 20 I’m a thirdclass student at sintlucas I started with swd ( 3d) but I didn’t like it so I tried graphic design but it still wasn’t quite the thing I loved to do and now I really have found my passion and that’s Photography !
S.o: how does a normal day look like for you?
Esmee: At eight o’clock my alarm goes off and I always snooze it three times before I get up Every day I go to school at 8:55 in the morning and than I just follow my schedule
Monday: studio
Tuesday: normal classes
Wednesday: editing your own movie or photos
Thursday: we have filming
Friday : you can go where ever you want to take pictures
I usually spend my weekend with family or soccer or work of course !
S.o: what is it that makes the art of photos so special for you ?
Esmee: I find it very interesting that you can tell a story through a few photos And I like to have an another view at our daily stuff and I even catch myself sometimes that looking different to stuff is becoming normal to me , I watch like I’m about to take a photo.
S.o: how would you define yourself as an photographer?
Esmee: very curious and i like a challenge
S.o: Which person influenced you the most to start photographing?
Esmee: This is a very difficult question there are so many good photographers out there but i like elsza jo very much because she is different than others and joost vandebrug is awesome !
S.o: How would you describe your feelings when you are about to take a picture ?
Esmee: focused , i don’t want to take failed photos even though that’s not always possible and of course it depends on in which situation I’m in at that time.
S.o: are there any things you would really want to do a part from what your doing now?
Esmee: Yes of course ! i would really like to have my own studio and in 2013 I’m going to Indonesia with my parents and sisters en I would like to make an reportage photography of them and for the future I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.
S.o: Have you experimented with other mediums (analog polariod etc)?
Esmee: I still ejoy working with analog and I worked with polariod but unfortanally I ran out of film I recently bought a digital SLR and if I don’t want to carry a heavy camera I can take my small analog
S.o: As an young artist what can we expect from you in the future ?
Esmee: haha, i hope you guys will see my photos in big magazines !
S.o: Are there any (upcoming) expositions with your photos?
Esmee: Yes! At the famous Dutch design week in Eindhoven there will be an exposition of me and my photography class!!
S.o: Is there any possibility to buy you photos?
Esmee: i actually never thought of it but lets just say Not yet....
S.o: Last but not least, do you have any advice for these upcoming young artists?
